The Wood Elves of Valenwood reject the stiff, formal traditions of Aldmeri high culture, preferring a more romantic, simple existence in harmony with the land. They are agile and quick-witted, making them the best archers in all of Tamriel, as well as competent thieves, scouts, traders, and scholars. They are religiously carnivorous as a part of their Green Pact, and are known to cannibalize their dead. They decorate their bodies to resemble their forest surroundings, and build their cities around the largest of trees.
